Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 12/08/24
Last Updated: 18/03/26
1. General Policy
All sales are final. All payments are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
This is a custom creative service business. Time, planning, creative direction, production work, editing, reviews, project setup, and digital delivery begin allocating value immediately and cannot be “returned.”
2. Deposits and Retainers
Any deposit or retainer paid to secure a booking, reserve project time, or begin work is:
- non-refundable;
- non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing;
- applied only to the agreed project.
A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit or first payment is received.
3. Once Work Has Begun
Once any work has begun, no refund will be provided for:
- creative direction;
- consultation time;
- concept development;
- songwriting or arrangement work;
- production work;
- editing, mixing, or revision work;
- file preparation or export;
- administrative/project-management time;
- digital delivery of any project materials.
4. Client Cancellations
If the client cancels:
- all payments already made remain non-refundable;
- any unpaid work already completed becomes immediately due;
- we may, at our discretion, decide whether partially completed files will be delivered.
5. Rescheduling
If a booked session, call, or milestone needs to be rescheduled by the client:
- at least [48/72] hours’ notice is required;
- repeated rescheduling may result in loss of priority scheduling;
- missed sessions or no-shows may be treated as used and non-refundable.
6. Client Delays and Project Abandonment
Clients must provide timely feedback, materials, approvals, and responses.
If a client becomes unresponsive or repeatedly delays the project:
- we may pause the project;
- delivery timelines automatically shift;
- previously paid amounts remain non-refundable;
- if the project is inactive for more than [30/45/60] days, it may be treated as abandoned;
- revival of an abandoned project may require a restart fee, rescheduling fee, or new agreement.
7. Revisions Are Not Refund Grounds
Creative preference changes, changes of mind, stylistic disagreement after approved direction, or dissatisfaction arising from a shift in the client’s taste or vision are not grounds for a refund.
Revisions are governed by the agreed revision scope. Requests beyond scope may require additional fees.
8. Digital Files and Delivery
Once digital files, drafts, exports, stems, notes, or any deliverables have been sent, accessed, or made available, no refund is available for those materials.
9. Right of Withdrawal for EU Consumers
If applicable law gives a consumer a statutory right of withdrawal for a distance contract, that right may be limited or lost where:
- service performance starts during the withdrawal period at the consumer’s express request and with acknowledgement that the right may be lost once the service is fully performed;
- the contract is for custom/personalized items;
- digital content is supplied and performance begins after express consent to lose the withdrawal right.
If you operate in the EU or sell to EU consumers, your checkout, proposal, or onboarding flow should include explicit consent language before work starts.
10. Chargebacks
Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks for valid charges related to booked, started, delivered, or completed work. In the event of a chargeback attempt, we reserve the right to provide this Policy, project records, communications, invoices, and delivery evidence to the payment provider or relevant authority.
11. Exceptions
Any refund or credit granted is entirely discretionary unless required by law and does not waive this Policy for future cases.
